Dear All,

We are having an open day at the Rowes Bay Sustainability Centre this weekend with some guided tours to showcase what has happened to date.
For the educators among you, the house is now open for school/community tours by arrangement.

For the parents among you, there will be children’s activities on the day.

When>> Sunday 22 May, 8.45am ? 12.30pm
Venue>> Rowes Bay Depot, 56 Cape Pallarenda Road. (Just past the?? RSL Villas).
When is a wetland not wet? 9-9.45 am
Take a guided walk of the new boardwalk and discover how wetlands change over the seasons.
Who is the Caretaker? 10.00 ? 10.30 am
Discover innovations that can make your home more comfortable and sustainable.
While on this tour, keep your mind and eyes open for the caretaker?
Get in the zone 10.45 ? 11.15 am
You can have it all ? if you know how to garden according to watering zones.
Tour the water use demonstration garden and find out how.
Go on a low carbon diet 11.30 ? 12.15 am
Get your food from your garden. Discover food plants that love our climate ? even our summers.
With our special guest, Leonie Norrington!
We haven?t forgotten the kids ? bring them along and we?ll get them involved in eco activities.
