Ahoy there permi people and friends alike!!
Our next meeting falls on International Permaculture Day May 6th, 1pm.
We have plenty of activities planned and food to feast on!!
This will also be the launch of Permi-Kids!! a special part of the group for the littlins n big kids too =) so of course all welcome!
After the sprouting success of our last meeting we are to follow through with more potting n planting for upcoming events Eco-Fiesta and Palm Creek!! Also the hand-made sign for the Permaculture Townsville Community Gardens will be out for painting!
Please come along early if you would like to help setup or have ideas/suggestions/input for the day =D

Look for the bananas! please come through the Halloran st entrance
you may like to bring;
-Hat
-Chair
-friends/family
-something to share for lunch
-something for the raffle
-any pots, plants, cuttings, seed trays, plastic bottles for labels or anything used for planting in (all potting mix provided)
-also bring ya togs/swimmers/birthday suit if u wanna take a dive in the pool X-)
If you haven’t been to a permaculture meeting before than this is definitely for?you!
We generally gather round the tables with goods and greetings, getting to know new faces n catching up on the latest goss in between mouthfuls of course =p
The raffle we have is $2 a ticket n everyone wins a prize, usually made up of goods brought in eg, plants, seeds, food, jams/preserves, cuttings, jars, pots, tools or anything really…that would be used and appreciated by others =) all money collected goes to Permaculture Townsville to continue these events, workshops, film nights, stall holding and misc. costs incurred. After a brief chat about the group operations, we will organise the day get into an activity (this one being potting up for Eco Fiesta and Palm Creek Folk Festival)
After the fun settles and the arvo sun calms, we may find ourselves being taken on a garden tour by the host, asking questions, gaining knowledge and sharing plant varieties. All in all a great way to spend a sunday arvo…
