International Permaculture Day 2013
Where:?30 Putt Street, Railway Estate
When:?2pm Sunday 5th May 2013
Why:?To celebrate and promote all things permaculture, in a cool and shady family setting!
What to bring:?seeds, seedlings, cuttings and tubers to swap, share the abundance of your excess produce in the raffle and eat till your belly’s content from the table of food brought in by everyone on the day. This is your chance to ask all those hairy garden questions you been scratchin’ your?head about! Don’t worry we don’t hug, but we do bite…into fresh fruit!!
A day of fun in the yard, with all the bells and whistles;
-Aquaponics demonstration
-Seedling raising/transplanting workshop
-vertical garden construction
-wicking bed construction
-Permaculture books for sale
-Seed swaps and Eden Seeds for sale
-Tour of the community garden
-new member sign on
-Permi-kids games and activities for everyone
-LET system explainedAll provided at no charge to the local community.?Independent enterprise is encouraged, so if you have any wares that you would like to sell on the day please advise you expression of interest.Permaculture-where you can have your fruit and eat ours too!
