Enjoy Jerry’s illustrated presentation on the development of his abundant organic garden Bellis in Wynnum, transformed from a denuded patch to a fertile paradise boasting over 100 productive species. His house is not only solar-powered but is also maintained by solar-powered equipment. Rain and storm water are harvested, sewage and grey water are recycled – all on a standard Brisbane suburban block.
And in addition to Jerry’s talk, you will visit two of Townsville’s best organic gardens to observe first-hand the results.
