Free permaculture workshop at JCU

Do you want to learn about permaculture and how to grow your own garden? Would you like to help JCU develop a community garden at the Townsville campus?

Then come along to the first JCU permaculture workshop at the Rotary International community garden, where we will be holding a working bee and workshop to prepare the garden for planting in 2011.

Experts and volunteers from Permaculture Townsville and Food for Thought will be in attendance and will be able to answer your questions on anything permaculture related.

A free BBQ and drinks will be provided following the workshop. Places are limited so register quickly.

Location: Rotary International House garden plot – Opposite the old accommodation buildings (193 – 194)
Date: Saturday 29th January
Time: 8am – 11am followed by a BBQ lunch
What to bring: Hat, sunscreen, gloves, water bottle, long sleeve shirt and pants.
